Title: Inlet Air Temperature Sensor connector removal
Post by: DKWrider on June 25, 2010, 03:28:33 AM
My connector does not appear to be the same as the one in the airbox removal "how-to" (or previous owner broke it), and I cannot figure out a way to get it off.  I cannot find a wire tabe to squeeze as in the photos.

This is what I have (sorry for the poor quality pictures.  Can't seem to get a macro focus)

Anyone else have similar?  I don't want to break this thing off.

In your blurry second pic you can see the retaining wire which must be pulled to disconnect.  Gently prise back the black plastic retainer "A" and pull the clip "B".  Connector should then come away with no probs or resistance.
