Came accross this little gem, small enough to put under your number plate beside the solar powered waffle maker
Handpresso (http://www.handpresso.com/) sounds vaguely porno  but now I know what I want for Christmas, after a new 800 that is
Got one. Plus the Intense Filter holder.
Bought it to impress my riding buddies and then the scheduled trip was cancelled... Well, maybe next year instead then.
If works great and you can take it with you anywhere. Just add hot water. Tell Santa that you need one really badly.
Looks the biz that gizmo. Wether or not it's any good stands or falls with the expresso that comes out. If that's good we have a definite winner on our hands 8)
Oooh great, I don't feel like a lonely nutter now, thanks Harre, Ilove gadgets like that.
It did cross my mind about an adaptor for pumping tyres up so that I could justify taking it on a trip
sin_tiger did you see the mini camera gadget I posted a link in 'toys and farkles'
Yup, spookily I just sent one to Dag as I could not do what I wanted with it, the CD with the drivers on it arrived cracked so he's looking for info, passed your post on already.
Pissed as that's a lot less than I paid for it :( handy bit of kit though, now I'm testing this ADR 3000 (http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/t-eye-automated-driving-recorder-adr-3000-p17356.htm)

Spooky yes. I got it to work alright. Now I´ll see where to put it to use. I just received a Nikon D3s with video capabilites, but it´s slightly more bulky than the mini-DV recorder I got from Singapore. Thanks Sin-Tiger.
As for the espresso-thingy; This is kind of fun. My wife and me used to talk about a farkle like this when we toured Las Americas, but we weren´t serious. But espresso afficionados, (Espresso-link (http://www.rocinantestravels.com/Espresso/Espresso1.htm)), oh we are...:) We have had the same machine for 9 years and still love it.
But serious, does this thing really work?
Dag
It works quite well for being a handheld espresso-thingie. Made a cup this morning and I still can feel the taste in my mouth. The thing is to keep the pressure high by filling with water all the way up to the pod. The result is a good, but not perfect cup of espresso. But it's the only thing out there except for the Mypressi that uses compressed N2O. Haven't tried that one, but using canisters is not my cup of tea (coffee), event though it may be slightly better by providing an even pressure.
Update:
After having a thick and fully flavored espresso at the airport recently I must admit that the Handpresso coffee is a bit too pale. I think I will put mine up for sale and go for the Mypressi instead. N2O canisters are not that expensive and taste is everything when it comes to espresso.

If you have the DomePod version and do decide to sell, can I have first dibs (first refusal) :D
