I have been asked to paint a red rose on a tank for a Suzuki.

never done a fuel tank before. although on the guitar project I never painted a rose or a banner until now.

well, finished the clearcoat, about 4 coats from rattle cans on monday just to protect the artwork, then today about another 4 coats of crystal clear, using the works spray booth.

you can see the metallic black base coat I used now
(http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/DaveBelton/airbrushing/IMG_1811.jpg)

I also used a pearlescent white base paint for the flams.

the clearcoat is touch dry at the moment, I got about 48hrs before I return it, so it is drying on my sons guitar stand in free space.

The Flame one i did for him is being well used by the others in the crew.

Once i finish Iron man theme, I got a rocker cover for a Saxo to jazz up.

What is it with all this skull stuff. I just don't get it.

skulls are easy to learn to paint with, as there is a lot of shading and different tecniques required to give the desired effect.
