Hi,
I picked up this 94 tiger a few years back.
I have not ridden it much as i like using a smaller bike around town.
The bike seems to run well, apart from a very slight " tick tick tick" from the top of the engine. I plan to check the valves soon.
The bike has the following mods:
17 inch wheels, with a 160 rear
Stain-tune pipes
Uni-filter with 2nd air-box snorkel fitted, must have been re-jetted?
Thunder Bike crash bars
Very high screen
Various tool tubes
Hagon progressive fork springs with gold valve emulators and 15w oil
Renthal bars with nice bar weights
Ventura headlight protectors
Ultra blue headlight globes
Bright and durable rear led indicators
Primitive throttle grip cruise control
Enlarged side stand foot
Mp3/phone holder
GPS for speedo as the 17 inch wheels mess up the true speed
Givi universal rack with 45L topbox
Many of the fittings have been replaced with aluminum and stainless steel bling
Very ugly sheep skin seat cover (had to put duct tape on the seat to protect it from the sheep skin seat cover straps that were digging in)
It also had a scottoiler fitted, but i decided to ditch it

G'day Joe
Nice ride. There's a few Aussies lurking around here. It's a great place for info although most of the stuff we want to get done you've got in place already.
Do you know what brand the screen is? I love my steamer but the biggest let down is the wind blast.
Hi,
The screen for the Tiger was purchased from an American company called Gustafsson Plastics.
They have many sizes and colours to chose from. Four years on the screen looks like new.
I paid around $140 US delivered back in 2006. The plus+ 10 inch screen, best suited my needs.
The previous owner of the Tiger put the 17 inch wheels on. I would rather have a 19 inch up front
but have had no luck finding a wheel in good condition at a suitable price.
I also would like to get a center stand, unfortunately the cost of postage from Europe to Australia on such a heavy item is crazy. I wounder where I could get one in Australia???
Joe
Try Liverpool Bike Wreckers 1/3 BROMLEY ST EMU PLAINS PH 0247357788.
Not touting. They have a few parts for steamers on ebay and I have rung them about other bits which they had not on ebay, so they might have one lying around.
Thanks for the info on screens. I have searched all over this forum and that is he 1st I have heard of this mob. Many people will be grateful.
