You can save a Life ! .... SERV (http://www.serv.org.uk/ (http://www.serv.org.uk/)) needs volunteer riders to deliver Blood and Blood Products to local hospitals - these are EMERGENCY deliveries only between 7PM & 6 AM on a monthly rota basis.
Working overnight from offices in New Malden you will be required to pick up and deliver blood and blood products from the National Blood Bank.
Delivery to Sussex and Kent are done by relay at designated halfway points.
Training, Equipment and sleeping quarters provided - Rota basis.
You must have a full licence, reliable transport and able to commit to at least one night per fortnight.
If you are a biker this is a great way to do something really worthwhile on your bike - it may be another biker's blood you are carrying.
