Title: Stebel mount
Post by: Bixxer Bob on January 23, 2011, 02:02:27 PM
I had a PM asking abut how I mounted my Stebel, so I've drawn a little sketch of my mount for info. the lamp braket supports the right hand driving light on my Touratech crash bars.  The Stebel mounting bar has a 90 deg twist in it and is made from 1/8" flat strip You could make it sturdier by using both clamp bolts, but I found it wasn't necessary as long as the bar is good grade steel, and anyway you need to be able to adjust the angle including bending the twist as you go until you get a position where the Stebel doesn't fret against anything:

I'll take abetter pic as soon as I get a chance.
