A friend (steamer owner) needs some panels welding, but - much as I rack my brains, I can't think of the name of the well-known UK specialist that does "as new" repairs and paint.
Any offers?
Cheers,
BB
May I ask what panels on a steamer are weldable :? :?
Dunno, I don't own one, and the asker's 200 miles away....
There are no metal panels on a steamer. There is some plastic welds on airbox and snorkel, but those would be cheaper new. Can you enquire?

I`ve done plastic welding on previous bike panels i`ve had.
Just takes a little practise and patience.
I used an ordinary soldering iron. :)
