A several years ago on the TV I noticed famous people fuzzing out their license plates. Then in the magazines, etc. Lately everyone blanks them out everywhere even on a RR. So why? Why do I care if Joe shmo knows what my car, bike, etc. plate number is?

Curious minds want to know.
