So i went to collect the Steamer on Sunday and it needed jumping due to a flat battery. I've charged it up, but i think that its past its best; i've always got just regular lead acid battery's for bikes in the past but has anyone used one of the sealed/gel batteries - are they worth the extra money?
Cheers
Is there a gel that fits without going to smaller capacity?
they aint worth the extra coin because In 16 years of tiger ownership I have yet to get more than two years out of a steamer battery . Steamers do tend to boil the electrolyte out of the batterys over time
just buy a 40 dollar battery and replace it every year , that way you always have a good one in it .
