I'm going to say 1952 6T, with a bit of extra flash. The fender stays, toolbox and centrestand would never be that shiny. And the cases look a bit over-polished. But I bike I'd give me left one to own.
The BSA?? '67 or '68 Spitfire. Need to see the brake to be sure.

Yes, you're right, I think it's a Triumph Thunderbird, bout '52.
This is a 1920 Harley-Davidson 20-J

This is a '52 Vincent Touring Rapide, same engine as the Vincent Black Lightning of TE Lawrence fame. Seeing it was like seeing a ghost. I've read The Seven Pillars of Wisdom and I have to admit, he was a bastard Brit of the highest order, an extraordinary person.

1965 Tiger Cub. Lovely.

If the bike is the same year as the tail lamp it's a 1950 6t thunderchicken
that taillight only came on the 1950 model 1st year .
I have a 1950 6t right here in my garage :D

Mustang is even more AWESOME than we thought.
It's not pretty yet , gotta get to work on it ............but it is all original , with only the fenders being repro's

That's a beautiful project, Mustang. Brings a tear to my eye. Bless.
The blue 6t above is close to the right color for a 1950 but not quite , the original blue was butt ugly and most US dealers repainted them Black with Gold pinstripes on the fenders before they even sold them .
Here's a 1968 Triumph Trophy. The lack of a "Harp" tank badge is the giveaway for this model year.

I think the color in the picture is what it _should_ have been.

Er... Not quite. The Brough Superior long pre-dated the Vincent (even in HRD form) and the engine of Lawrence's bike was a JAP OHV unit.

I think we may be talking about 2 different bikes? The bike he wrote about in the book The Mint (from which your link quotes from) was indeed a Brough Superior. The bike he rode later in life was the Vincent Black Lightning.
Nope: I stand corrected. I was certain it was a Vincent.
When I think Vincent, I think of the iconic Rollie Free photo at Bonneville:

I had a Tiger Cub in 1970 and they were a single cylinder as far as I remember so this isn't a Tiger Cub (lovely though it is!). A Trophy maybe?
