Title: 'Steamer' Motad Venom Exhaust
Post by: NeilD on June 27, 2011, 04:15:53 PM
fitted to the bike and used for a couple of hundred miles. a few scratches here and there, which happened during fitment, but these could be polished out...  also one of the Venom stickers has discoloured (see picture) where I squirted some carb cleaner on the silencer to clean them up!  :?  :)
looking for £95 .

Not sure what I ended up with.    The cans protrude about 100mm past the number plate and touch the indicators, definately not right.

yep I had the same problem on initially trying to get mine to fit.. took a while but I think I ended up with a longer mounting bolt a couple of thick washers... also had to cut slots in the linkpipe where it joins the original to get it to tighten up anywhere near enough...

Hello Sin,
I had the same problem with my Motads, I had a Number plate made up turned through 90 degrees. Works a treat and looks fairly distinctive.

PS Givi plate fits a treat, thanks Neil.

Had the same problem on my steamer and ended up shortening the link pipes.
