God speed Mom, you gave em' hell. U.S. Navy Wave's 1942, mother of 7, wife to a career military/commercial pilot,  best friend to us . you guy's would have liked her. Her suffering is over now - GOD DAMN ALZHEIMER'S.

Sorry for your loss, she sounds like she was a very good women. You'll miss her but be thankful you knew her and had her for a mother.

R.I.P.

Eric , I know how you feel .......lost my mom to cancer in 2007.
It gets easier , but there are still times I tear up thinking of her .

Was in your position nearly 2 years ago, its hard to watch someone fade away, she's at peace now !!  :cry:

sorry to hear about your loss :cry:

My mom lost her battle to cancer about 4 weeks ago (after 23 years of fighting the disease)

remember your mom for all the wonderful things she did, people she influenced, and the life she led.

You're right ... I would have liked her. Sorry for your loss but I can also understand your sense of relief that she's no longer suffering with a horrible disease. Hang in there bro ....

Sorry for your loss, Ive been parentless since 2003 when my Mum went, my Dad departed in 93, when I was barely in my 30's, I miss em both everyday.

Turned the life support machine off two weeks ago and cremated my dad yesterday,strange times that for sure  :(
