Very nice! And they bolt right on?
Fsck me. That shot of your handgrips and bar ends looks extremely phallic.
We should have an age warning on those photos!!
yup, bolt straight in no messin about.
however, ive been told by a mate that theres a bolt that needs sortin out
(http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/af76/IM_Rybes/dsc02087a.jpg)
the arrowed one. aparantly they are a standard bolt wich is threaded all the way to the head. aparantly, the thread slowly chews the aluminum away and makes the lever wobbly. im goin to have a look at mine over the weekend and see what its like. if it is ill probly get a smaller bolt and a sleeve made up unless i can find a bolt with an unthreaded portion thatll do the job. ill let ya know what i find ;)
Is it possible to drill out a bit and put a sleeve around the existing bolt?
ossibly, im just gunna finish me bacon n egg roll n go and have a look ;)
I just bought me a set :)
good man :D there well worth the pennies
just been out and took a lever apart and everythin seems ok. they have a bolt wich is threaded all the way to the top but it already has a brass sleeve in the main body of the lever. only bit wich isnt sleeved is where the lever bolts onto the switch pushin part
Think I might just have to get a set, or two, of those myself.
Rybes, with the money you saved could you buy a set of grips that don't look like they came out of an Ann Summers catalogue
:ImaPoser i get a lot of comments but them grips. was gunna change em but i think ill just leave em now as they seem to cause so much interest
They look cool, but I find the clutch pull heavy and sometimes I need all four fingers on the brake hand to haul this heavy pig to a stop.
Of course, you might have Popeye forearms.
Clutch pull is nice and sweet with these levers. I bought two sets - I couldn't resist at £23.
£23!

glad ya like the levers tho

Aye.
I had been after some for two years but had no idea what other bikes would be compatible. A real big thanks to Rybes on this one :)
id asked on here a while ago and someone put up a post from another forum about it, so i looked at his pics and took a wild punt and had fingers crossed they did. for once i got summink right, they fitted  deff prefered over the original ones for sure.

That was me, i`d read on the Triumphrat site that they would fit the T3 Triumphs so i knew they`d fit the Tiger :D
Careful with the years. From what I see on ebay there are versions for the early and late ZRX's and the cutoff year is 1999. I think we want the earlier version.

The auction that myself and Rybes bought from showed only 1999 - 2007 for the ZRX1100/1200.
You definitely want the later models: 1999 - 2007
as Luke says. get those ones and your garunteed itll fit ;) how can 2 steamer owners be wrong

Hi Rybes,
thanx for the link. i have clicked buyitnow but have not confirmed payment yet as there seems to be no way of inputting colour or lever length?
I have sent the selling a question about thie via E-bay.
First of many farkles for my steamer then? LOL

You enter the colour etc in the message panel on the Paypal form.
Hi, i have paid for them now. Black. shorty levers to fit my red tiger....
:)
I have just fitted a set of these cheapo levers to my bike. I found that although the standard hand guards would go on, they foul the lever as the bit that makes the levers adjustable is a lot wider than standard which prevented the levers returning correctly when released. Looks like I will get some acerbis ones as I have also fitted Renthal Dakar High bars (code 613).
I will reserve judgement on the levers until they have got a lot of miles on them.I am looking forward to trying this set up as I hated the slight downturn of the standard bars. The brake hose is now on its limit so if I want risers I will need brake, and maybe clutch lines.
Are those levers a straight across swap, or is there more to it than that? I want to put a set of Acerbis or similar handguards on my Tiger but the OEM levers are going to be too long.
I've been tinkering with my handlebar set up for quite sometime and I think I finally have it figured out. I initially went with a set of ProTaper high bars, but had problems with the front brake line being maxxed out, plus the brake & clutch reservoirs hit the fairing...not good. I recently bought a set of 2" Rox Risers and put them on with a set of ProTaper low bars. I am able to angle the bars back a bit, instead of the rise just going up. The result is a much better riding position, especially while standing, the brake line isn't so tight and no more contact with the fairing. With this new set up, I should be able to install some handguards with the aluminum frame, so I can protect my levers a bit better.
My next mod is going to be a set of Mustang pegs. :D

:D
It is a straight swap apart from the fact that you have to swap over the little hinged rod which pushes the clutch piston in. It only takes about 10 mins to do both.
If you must fit acerbis MX type hand guards you need to go for the shorter levers as the normal ones are the same length as standard. It may be possible to fit them with the standard length levers but a spacer of about 20mm would be required on the end of the bar which may make the whole thing a bit floppy as the expanding bolt wouldn`t have much to grap on!
The standard length bars have a nothch in them which looks like it corresponds to the length of the shorter ones so it wouldn`t be a major job to cut them to suit.
