Progress update....

The pile of bits and bobs is growing in the garage...

- Thunderbird seat on it's way from America amazingly.
- Handle bar grips
- Acerbis mudguard
- Headlight mounts
- new stop light
- T595 exhaust headers and collector (Thanks all for the advice, it seems the single biggest source of weight loss)

Bits I need to find...

- a new exhaust can to suit the new arrangement
- a headlight
- a tank (been looking for a thunderbird one but boy are they dear!  Might have to adopt Sin's crazy Buell suggestions!)
- conical air filters
- Water pump, (or washers nearby) the one on the bike is leaking
- Three coils, just because it's the elixir of steamer life

Any thoughts on where a thunderbird 900 tank might be found other than ebay would be much appreciated.

Got a pic of the rear? Like to see what it looks like fitted at the back?

Headers look nice and shiny  :D

Haven't done that bit yet.  Need to do a bit of surgery with the hacksaw to the sub-frame first.  Soon as I do, it'll be up.

Progress to date.  Everything here is held on with gravity and / or masking tape!  I got a lot of brackets to fabricate...

And some electrics to sort out....

And some new tyres to fit...

And a headlight / indicators / tail light assembly...

And get a bit more bend put in the single sided exhaust link tube...

But progress is being made.

The tank looks right at home on there.
