Was wondering how many here have changed out their fork springs and what kind of benefit you've felt.

I'm just over 180# and the front feels firm enough, but definitley dives a little under braking-  not too big a deal, but if there were real gains to be had, I might think of swapping the stockers out.

Just appealing to your worldly knowledge here!

last service i uped the oil thickness a little. it works well, but i will go the full hog and put in progresive springs when i can afford it.

thicker oil slows the dive down a little, but be warned it also slows the rebound a little to.
If it aint broke, I aint touched it! .........Yet!

I highly recommend a change. I recently changed my springs to progressive springs and the oil to 15w. I can tell you that the handling has improved for the better. The biggest improvement was the front end dive at braking.
