California emmisions?????

I live in NY and I bought my 06 Tiger from a guy in Idaho, and when my dealer ran the vin#, it said my bike has Ca. emmisions??? :shock:  WTF does that mean as far as getting re-mapped for the off road can? Anyone ever run into this before, and is it going to be a nightmare??

It shouldn't be a problem. Folks here in California get their bikes remapped at the dealer same as anywhere else. I don't have a CA bike at the moment (bought my Tiger out of State) but when I did the ugly charcoal canister always seemed to fall off and end up on a shelf in the garage within the first few days of having the bike.
