My elbow has been killing me for two months now! Longer actually, but for two months I haven't riden a lick and it's been really nice weather in south Texas.
It all started when I had the Hyper Pro mounted and it was set at maximum height. I could reach the ground, so I thought I'd leave it there for a little bit and see how I liked it. It was super easy to get up on the center stand compared to Hagon shortness.
But, combined with the workplace ergonomics being sub-optimal and some woodsmithing in the garage, I quickly got to a very bad place.
I've got an appointment with an orthopodic sports doc today-- he will probably start with the painful steriod treatment that works quickly for most people. Then I have to decide, is it worth the risk if I keep riding?... Frankly I know what the answer is, and I hate to admit it, but I'll probably be selling my favorite bike of all time....

RICE........
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation
get some soft tissue therapy on your arm (ART or similar type), get a Epicondyle strap which takes the pressure of the imflammed area. Take some anti inflammatories. The steriod should be the last resort as they don't always work in any case.
Not sure why the hyperpro would result in this injury.

 PS hope this helps

Yup, I've been resting as best as I can for two months, tried massage, ultra-sound, acupuncture, and straps, wraps, and braces.
It is a little better, but it still hurts when I roll over in the middle of the night, or move the cycle around in the garage.
I ice every night for swelling and inflamation (practically, I miss a few days when it feels a little better) and put a heat pack on it for sleeping (helps keep the muscle relaxed, and I'm told helps circulation and healing).
I'm down to the end of my rope, or tendon....

The hyper pro was significantly taller than the hagon. The front end was set lower because the hagon was lower, so everything was all a kilter and I kept riding with a little discomfort as I made minute adjustments every few days trying to find the optimal settings. But strain is strain, and vibration is vibration, and they build up on each other until I'm in a world of hurt.

We'll see what the specialist says in an hour!

Well, have to go in for MRI next. Xray didn't show but a little calcification in one are that he wasn't too concerned about.
The doc was concerned about the range of motion, he believes it isn't just a common tennis elbow injury, but probably a little more severe like torn tendon. Is that good news? not really, but perhaps for my riding future.

We didn't talk about solutions yet-- need to get the problem defined first. Maybe I won't have to sell, because a torn tendon would require an event and not a serious of stressors, in my thoughts.
