Just had this info from Tuneboy in an email:

...We are in the process of releasing software for Triumphs, KTM's and Ducati's that has a lot of new features making the software more attractive than *****

We are about to release a new WiFi version of the hardware as well.

The new TuneBoyTrim software allows you to switch between three
different trim maps, and make immediate changes while the motor is
running.  (This is not yet available for all makes and models.)

e.g. Map Mode 1 = a full power map, Map Mode 2 = an economy map, Map
Mode 3 = a wet weather map with the ignition retarded.  Map Mode 1 uses
Fuel Trim 1 and Ignition Trim 1.  Map Mode 2 uses Fuel Trim 2 and
Ignition Trim 2 etc.

This will take effect in real-time and it will be remembered from
start-up to start-up.

While you are on the road you can swap maps by simply pulling the clutch
lever in and out five times.  This must be done in a two second space to
take effect.  The needle on the speedo will then move from 0 up and down
to indicate the map you have selected.  The needle will only move to
indicate the map mode selected if the motor is not running. e.g. If the
speedo needle moves up and down once, you have selected map 1.  If it
moves up and down twice, you have selected map 2.  You can move up in
sequence until you have selected the correct map.

Not of any real use to us as most struggle to get the 955i to run well on one map let alone three, but nice to see Wayne is moving with the times!

How come you get emails and I don't?

I'd probably struggle to remember that (or fall off trying to work out how many times the needle had moved).......

I've not read it a second time, but I seem to recall you have to do this while stationary?

And I got it during an email exchange regarding the scare over the Triumph gameboy.  I'm no-one special :)

Blimey and I thought when riding a Multistrada pressing the mode button and shutting the throttle was bad enough  :D
