Girly Bars on a Steamer ?

Are the early Girly bars different to the Steamer bars ? I'm happy with the height of my bars, but would like to get rid of the turned down feel that the Steamer bars have in their stock setting.
If they are different, will I just have the same problems I have when I forward rotate my stock bars, ie hitting the fairing ?

I've got em on two different steamers and like them better than the hi dollar aluminum bars ( less vibey)
