All,

Putting my bike together after replacing the rings... I cannot find a torque value for the exhaust to the cylinder head.

Looked through my books and the "How to" thread.

Thanks in advance,
JoeDirt

According to the manual, tighten in stages:

first to 8 Nm
second to 12 Nm
Tiger Explorer Graphite 2013
Bonneville SE 2010 (missus)
previous bikes:
   Tiger 955i Orange  2003
   BMW K1  1989
   Ducati 750S '72
   Matchless G80 '57
   Matchless G3L '39

mmmm, my manual says working left to right tighten top nuts to 19Nm, then bottom to 19Nm(Again Left to right), finally tighten top ones again to 19Nm

I hand tightened these with a 3/8" socket wrench. I checked the torque to 12 Nm and even with the studs and nuts rusted... I thought the torque seemed light.

Appreciate the information,
