Charging upgrade question

I know lots has been done on the popular upgrade "sasquatch mod(SM)". But correct me if I'm wrong, the SM doesnts really apply to the 1999 and 2000 models. So my question, is there any know upgrades for the 885i bikes?
My last bike was a 1998 Trophy, it had the same type of charging system as my 885i. I never did find any upgrades for that one eaither, so i thought i would ask the experts.

Well you could replace the alternator complete, but that would be a real ball ache, finding a unit that would fit and had the same drive, or rewinding the old unit to produce more power. Not an easy route me thinks.
