Is this the lead I need for tuneECU? It looks similar to the Tuneboy lead and the ecu plug shape looks right.

If you have a Tuneboy lead you don't need the other one,  the TB lead works.  You might have to load the correct drivers though.  For me it worked first time.

As for the rev issue, mine has had lumpy running between 2-3000 rpm off and on although changing the throttle body gasket and TPS really made a difference.  These days it sometimes can't quite decide what to do 2 - 2500rpm on a steady throttle but give it berries and it'll pull clean from 2k.

Unfortunately I let the tuneboy lead go with the Rocket but I think I will
invest in an ebay lead and go from there.

Is TuneECU similar to the Tuneboy program , or is it more rudimentary?
