Hi all, I have a 97 Steamer. Anybody tell me how difficult it is to change the front fork seals? Never did forks before, is it just one of those jobs for the pros? I'm sure the dealer would do it for a hair under $500...

easy peasy, just loosen the bottom bolt at the underside of the forks before you take the forks out of the yokes ;) i think its either an 8 or 10mm allen key.

If you've done this work before, its a doddle. If not there are u-tube vids or heynes manual. Watch out for the damper rod bolts Rybes describes. They can be a bit tight in so make sure you use a top quality Allen key or you'll round it out.
