exhaust what to do

took exhaust of today to weld a few holes,the exhaust sound as if the boxes have fallen apart inside has any one took the inner out of the exhaust as new ones cost to much

nope, jus cut it open and see what ya find. probly gunna be some kinda collection of tubes and baffles. then go get yaself some perforated tube and exhaust waddin and replace original tubes with perforated stuff http://www.pjengineering.co.uk/products.asp?cat=11

very loud i should imagine but it could bring ya a whole host of runnin probs with just empty cans.

sorted out my exhaust problem brought some exhaust pipe of e bay and fitted 2 scorpion race cans off my friend xjr 1300(proper bike)it sounds fantastic
