On my newly purchased '96 I have just discovered the rear fender is broken in three pieces and the mounting brackets on the rearest part of the frame are broken off.

So i need a fender and hopefully I can find someone to weld those back on.

Keep in mind that although the fenders are the same there are actually two versions for the different mountings of the coolant reservoir
serial #20131 and lower use threaded inserts molded into the fender
serial #20132 and up just have holes where the reservoir is pop riveted on

yeah, i noticed that. but i figure i'd rather take a chance than spend $300 on a new unit. hopefully luck is on my side.
