Looks a good one! Welcome.
Is it really an adventure bike if its wheels never see dirt?

congratulations, red ones are best! I am sure that you will enjoy her.
The silver swing-arm probably indicates that the original black one was replaced with a later one when the original snapped at the pinch bolt. Silver ones are supposed to be stronger.
It\'s ok , this will only take 5 minutes.
96 Pimento Red Steamer.

actually 94 steamers came with the silver swingarm................

And I like how the swing arm complements the muffler.

You likely have sprag access cover on the motor on that model year. Good for you: easier to deal with one of the nastier problems: (at least on later models that do not have the access cover) the starter sprag clutch failure.

There are a number of motorcycles, not just Triumphs of this vintage, that have this weakness. Not to worry: make sure you have a good battery and don't try to start it if the battery seems off. And don't keep cranking away at it if it doesn't start.
Mostly commuting around town on the Steamer these days.

Welcome aboard !!

Too bad it's not a blue one but it'll do

You're gonna love her !
