While I was changing the oil on the '05 Tiger yesterday I noticed the clutch return spring is broken. Makes sense now as to why my wrist has been sore from pulling the clutch.

How hard is it to replace the spring, and is it even worth it??

Mine has been bust for ages, you should replace it I suppose but I'm lazy
Black 885i Tiger UK based
Orange 955i Tiger Canadian based
Norton 961S never got it, tired of waiting

That's what I'm thinking. Since I have no need to fix anything else inside, I might just wait and fix it when/if I have other problems.

Mines been bust for the four years I've owned the bike. I do have a replacement for it I'll fit along with EBC clutch plates and springs.

Mine is bust also. I bought a replacement but it's much stiffer.
Don't want more resistance in the clutch than it is so I havn't fitted it.
I've run it without the external spring for two years now.
