Yep, that's o.k. You don't want to have to pull it every time you pop the tank do you?

I would inspect it each time you do though. I worry about wear agaisnt the frame with all the bumpy miles mine does.

It's also a very handy breakin point should you ever want to add a long range tank.

Yes, but (a) I see you still have the plastic connectors and (b) one of them is disconnected.

If you're worried about rubbing,  try putting a few turns of cable spiral wrap at the contact points.
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint

Yes, fuel fittings swapped out a few years back for the metal ones.  That's just an older picture I referenced thinking about that hose!  :icon_biggrin:
