Just a work of engineering art.
It\'s ok , this will only take 5 minutes.

Good to see it actually getting a run rather than tucked away as an ego inflation  :thumbsup
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint

Lovely body too, far too many have been made to look like the Le Mans cars. At Essen a couple of years ago there was a company in Devon making Bentley tourers, their stand was amazing.

Lovely. Fastest motor lorry in the world as Ettore Bugatti said.

I was taking the ferry to Ouistreham one evening with the Tiger and there was a chap with a Type 54(?) Bugatti Atlantic Coupe in the same queue. We got to talking and he showed me over the straight eight engine. Absolutely gorgeous.

Funny reading this trundling along the M6 yesterday I can see a car coming in my rear mirror couldn't work out what it was comes up along side it was a Jaguar XJ220 and what I assumed was his other half in another opened topped Jag as well behind with open pipes and a glass panel so you see a big motor in the rear sounded V8 I'm not a car man but blimey they sounded good.

GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!!

Only ever seen one XJ220 up close and that was the Autosport show at NEC.  It had a glass panel over its V8.  Can't think what the open top one can be........

Oh, and those XJ220s are massive!

Never had a V8! Engine was an adapted version of the V6 from the Metro 6R4 with the addition of turbos. Was talking to Jaguars Lawyer at the time over Crimbo and that engine was the problem. Should have been the V12 and they would have sold as it was they struggled to sell the last few. Some went for as little as 80K.

Oh and the thing you saw on the M6 Chris was probably a kit of the XJ13, V12 in that too, saw the firm making them at the Chelsea legends show.

Cheers John,I'd have taken a photo on the phone but I was in the same spot I got done 5 years ago for 'Being witnessed to have handled a plastic bag' and thought better of it but they did look and sound nice neither of which I had ever seen before which doesn't mean much as I'm not a car man.

Me and the boys were on a road trip in 2012. Tom was on his KLX400, I was on the XR650L and Gerry was on his Tiger. Yes it was a road trip. Anyhoo we overnighted in Okanogan, Washington. It turned out the only folks staying in the hotel were us bike boys and the owners of this collection of four wheeled gems.

They all pre-dated WW1. I admit I am not a car buff, but I am fascinated by these oldies. We learned that the US did not choose the right hand side of the road to drive on as standard until after these cars were built; hence the steering wheels on the 'wrong' side!
