For a seat cover a few of us have tried this:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Triumph-Tiger-900-t-400-seat-cover-/131290982099?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e918d66d3&vxp=mtr

Mine has stood up pretty well after 10,000+ kms under my bum.

im so glad you said that i was planning on asking if anyone has tried that cover it looks like a good price for a custom seat

how is the fit? does it take much effort to line up the piping with the ridge of the seat?

The fit is great. I must confess, however, that I had it fitted by a local upholsterer since I lack those skills. He didn't charge a huge amount for the labour so I assume it wasn't a difficult job.

I'll let others who have done this themselves chime in in this............
