I cannot get TuneECU to register, there is a server problem. Is this the only way to reset the TPS? There must be another way.

There has been server issues over the past few days according to the TuneECU Facebook group.

Unless you can get hold of an old windows version of TuneECU, just can only suggest waiting for the server issue to be sorted  sorry.

I guess my question is, Is TuneECU the only way to reset this?

There's a coupe of other programs, TigerTool and DealerTool. I've no experience with DealerTool and while I have a copy of TigerTool, the OBD cable I have is not compapble (LonLec), so I've never used it. It may work for your bike, but again I haven't used it on a 955i.

The software is free but you need to be a member of tiger800.co.uk forum to access it.

The software is currently at v3.3 and allows you to:

  • Reset the service interval and clear the 'service due' wrench symbol from the instruments
  • Configure ABS / TPMS menu items & default distance units for the instruments
  • Read & clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL)
  • Read & clear ABS DTCs
  • Bleed ABS brake modulator
  • Check throttle body balance
  • Read, enable/disable & program TPMS sensors
  • Erase Immobiliser/TPMS DTCs and monitor live TPMS data
  • Read VIN, ECU serial & engine map reference codes
No matter how smart you are you can never convince someone stupid that they are stupid.
