Hair dryer or (careful) use of a hot air gun.

Surgical spirits from the chemist does the trick.Hair dryer OK as well by softening the glue and the spirit cleans the residue off.

if you know any friendly body repair specialist they make an attachment for an angle grinder that looks like a large pencil eraser and is specially meant for pinstrip and decal removal.  my dad uses one in his shop and he loves it.  very very easy on the finish as well.

I take it the eyelashes are merely vinyl decals applied over the paint?

My '05 doesn't have the eyelashes, but every other decal is under the clearcoat, making it effectively impossible to remove the decals without destroying the paint.

Just wondering...

hi again, the white stickers came off easily with the hair dryer but u can see the traces...as glue!!! that's the difficult part. I have to be sure not damage the paint. I tried with hairdryer over it but too difficult...i'll keep try b4 goin to chemicals :? hope i dont have to...

There's a product on this side of The Great Water called Goo-Gone, made with orange oil.  It dissolves adhesive residue nicely without damaging paint.

Smells frooooty.   :smt003

I like the angle-grinder option, except... Tigers are tough - right?  Why bother searching high and low for some special 'eraser' attachment.  Use 80grit, get those decals off, and make it look MEAN in the process.

WD40 sometimes works depending on the type of glue. It has to be useful for something.....
