i need a new cable it broke any ideas thanks skiddydogg.

Mine fell off on the Expressway last night.

Approach speed camera, look down to check speed (speedo partially obscured by GPS / expensive MP3 player), doing 0 mph, should be OK then  :lol:

Stop at the lights and my mate catches up on his V Strom and points at my engine. Looks down to see the speedo end of cable has unscrewed itself from teh instrument and now has a terminal case of gravel rash from draggin on the deck. I wasn't going that fast  :shock:

Is this unusual?

I really must make an effort to keep my petrol topped up now, no low warning light, no oddometer and she is definately running rich.
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint

speedo cable unscrewed 5 minutes later speedo  fixed.  :oops:
