 when cleaning my carbs out on my tiger, i noticed on the inside of the inlet ports (ie you can see the inlet valves ) i saw what looked like a plastic coating on all three inlets. which was flaking. cleaned them all up seems to run ok :)

thas not plastic. its a carbon build up. cleanin it offs good. better to do it when the heads not on tho but dont worry ya wont have hurt it :)

:D  HI    it doesnt feel suty when you rub it and leaves no stains on your fingeres. the bike has done 17500 miles . there was pieces flaking off and some big bits that have curled up and could be snaped of with your fingers. thanks for your reply  :D
