Bar end weights

Was out on my Steamer all day yesterday, noticed a small vibration through the bars.
It has aftermarket bar ends on, which fit with a bolt that expands a rubber bung inside the bars.
Do the original bars have a nut welded inside to fit the end weights?
I have a spare set of original bars, and these have no nuts inside either.

my original bars had nuts welded in the bars. my guess would be that its the rubber bung causin it. have you tried lookin for expandin 2 piece metal ones ?

Cheers Rybes, as it happens the wifes Fazer has some of those 2 piece expanding mounts, i`ve just took them out and had a look!
