Thats the thing. In order to be accurate I used one of the wife's measuring jugs so I'm pretty sure about the quantities involved. I've got another gallon of oil in the garage so I think I'll do it again at the weekend. It won't exactly hurt will it.

When you drain the oil again, measure how much comes out.
