Throttle lock question.

Might be a silly question but, what happens if you say fit some Acerbis protectors onto a set of bars with a Throttlemeister lock? Will it be disastrous or just not allow the throttle lock to function.

Well I've looked on the Throttlemeister website and as far as I can tell all that will happen is the lock won't be able to twist. Oh well, if I end up hurtling towards my demise then I'll know I shouldn't have done it!!!

Just get some standard ones that don't go anywhere near the bar ends?
