I was invited to a Bikesafe course run by a local BMW dealer and the Cambridgeshire police and thought this too good an opportunity to miss so rocked up on the Girly. With one exception the others are all GS riders and he is on an ageing R80 I think.  I expected a bit of BMW aloofness but its not been too bad; I think they know which bike has the edge on normal roads

Assessed ride in 2 weeks; I'll let you know how I get on

Some of the local kids and adults have been on these courses and all have remarked how their riding technique has improved.
It is said that can't teach an old dog new tricks but this course certainly seems to.
