Will a 2006 seat fit a 1999 885i?

I just picked up a 1999 Tiger, which needs some love.  It came with a Russel Day Long seat that is just too tall for me.  Can I put a stock 2006 seat on the 1999 885i Girly?

yep - they're the same seat configuration. I have owned both a 2000 and a 2006, and used the same seats on both.
