I'm new to this site since I picked up my 06 Girly last year. Appreciate the information I've been able to pick up from others. Thought I'd share a few pics by way of intro...

For the last four years a group of us has made an annual trip to the Central Coast of California. Other than Big Sur and Hwy 1, it isn't an area you hear a lot about, except maybe Hwy 33. We got lucky and hit it just right this year with temps in the 60s and 70s, and the hill still green from the late Spring rains.

An inauspicious start... we had wind, rain and cold down the coast until we got past Santa Cruz (we started in Santa Rosa). It was a game group though.

Looking much better as we got near King City...

Day 2 we're headed further south on Peach Tree Rd toward Paso Robles....

Later that day we got to Cerro Noroeste, one of my favorite roads....

The next day we had 33 out of Ojai pretty much to ourselves.... miles of twisty smiles...

Although I've been to this area a number of times, I'd never been on Bitterwater Rd.... it went on and on through the ranchland... sweet

Later that day we wound our way over to Parkfield - Coalinga Rd. It's dirt for a few miles coming up from the west. Challenging to ride as it had been recently graded and there was a lot of loose dirt and rock on the surface. All made it to the top without incident... except one guy on a GSA who got a slice in his tire. Took a number of tries to get that fixed.

Parkfield decent on the north side...
