I have been really tired of not being able to see the idiot lights on my dash. Funny that I would actually WANT to see the idiot lights. So I decided to order up some LEDs finally.

Before:

During:

After:

Now onto my problem. All the lights light up without a problem, but all but the fuel and check engine lights are not fully extinguishing. They continue to have a faint glow. I noticed it the other night. Drove me nuts!! Does or would anyone know how or why these lights wont fully go out? I checked the connections and wires. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thank you all for your help!!

Cheers!!

Hi
It will not help you but i have done the same thing and have the same two lights with the same results!!!!

LEDs are very sensitive and a tiny voltage (possibly backfeeding from elsewhere) can light them up. It can be quite confusing as you've found.....

Do you  really need a brighter LED in the high beam warning lamp?

Just wondering.

I may as well do it, as I'm gonna get blamed for it anyway.

Yes I did. Here where I live its blazing sun 98% of the time and the angle is just right where I cant see it when its on. I usually ride with my high beams on during the day. I couldnt see the neutral or blinker bulbs either.
