Me again, just tore my girl down to put a K and N air filter in and noticed this sludge from the engine breather. would i be able to put a filter on it and blank the airbox hole up?

Have to say that oil in the airbox on these is sometimes a sign that it's been on its side.

I have read that too, the only thing that led me to my conclusion is that the box was bone dry prior to me servicing, plugs, air filter and so on,
Nice and easy Fix  :eusa_clap

If not your fault, then look at the stator cover breather hose gasket.
