kn 191 oil filter

this filter came as a spare when i brought my 05 tiger its a kn191,says on k/n website this only fits up to 2004,is there something different  triumph changed on 05 bikes or is it ok to fit?

Has no one on here used a k&n oilfilter 191 on their 05 tiger,just taken old one off and that is also a 191 but k&n website says it needs a 204 they both look the same to me,while doing a search on net someone said some late 2005 bikes had 1050 bottom ends that why it needs the later filter

Sorry, snow on the bike Monday so no ride for me, I do have a 204 on my 06.  The 191 number I was thinking I had must have been on my 885i

thanks for reply nice sunny day here,its a bit odd as some ebay sellers list the 191 for a 2005 and some the 204

the 191 is a skosh bigger in diameter and length than a 204
otherwise its the same filter

It has a 191 on it at mo,so seeing as bike came with a spare191 cant do any harm fitting it i suppose,will order up a 204 to see size etc
