pipe route

can anyone tell me (or post a pic) of the route of the pipe that spurs off from the top rad pipe and connects to the pipe under engine. does it go between carbs? the manual doesnt even show the pipe

Yes, I'll do it on Sunday, have one in bits at the moment but not at home.

Yup, it runs down between carb no 1 and 2, then behind the long cover plate.

ive rerouted it now - bit of a squeeze to get past the water pump.
luckily i had the carbs off again  for about the 5th time which gave me some space
