Clutch push rod question ??

I have the sprocket cover off for a new sprocket and I would like to replace all of the seals while in there, can I remove the clutch push rod or will something go kerplink into the bottom of the cases ?

I did a search and nothing came up.

Its OK, just pull it out, change the seal then have a look at the rod and if it is showing much wear then turn it around, and then you'll have a 'new' rod - or new friction/wear area at least... put a small blob of grease on each end too, also wipe a bit of oil along the rod to lube the new seal.

How much mechanical do you want to get into while doing the sprocket? There's a mod that separates the oil reservoir from the sprocket cover that makes maintenance much easier. Involves some cutting, welding & fabrication , but well worth it.

Good info, this might be a project for next year as I have enough on the go right now.
