The power commander or the tuneboy?Any feedback will be appreciated. This would be for the Tiger 955i

The power commander I've not a lot of time for, I've removed a few due to errors from other bikes, the Triumph EFI is very tetchy and the power commander could end up with the ECU warning light on to show a fault. (Lamda sensor reading too rich)

The tuneboy, well, they tell me you can make up your own mapping with this and simply re-program the ECU, sounds good in theory, also can be used for others Triumphs so good all round piece of kit.

I admit I've no experience with either on the Tiger so can only tell you what I've heard so far. Hopefully someone here might have tried them?

Oh god, I really want one of these.  Has anybody tried one?

I've got the Tuneboy, absolutely excellent.  If you know of any local Triumphs pool your funds and buy the tuneboy and all the keys you need at once.

I've used the tuneboy quite a lot recently. Its excellent, more than just a tune downloader (but you can find that info on their website)

The main thing for me was the ability to download a tune to use with the standard exhaust that removes all the restrictions to the fuel mapping introduced to meet the emissions regs for various countries. For me this made a lot more difference than fitting a race can (and another tune...) although I now have a race can (and another tweaked tune).

If you want to tinker, and have the time to learn a little about it, its well worth it in my opinion.

Erm... where are you, Pete?
