Just got my new shock for my 01

In the interest of maintenance, I've pulled the rear wheel and am cleaning/lubing everything. I have 39,000 on the bike that I've had 3 yrs (bought with 6000 miles).



The big headache- I cannot get the top bolt loose, to save my life. I have a T50  torx, but it feels a like it's not seating tightly in the bolt.  What's the secret? I'm wanting to get the Wilber's installed so I can get going! I gotta be in Nashville at the end of next week and Dayton the following.
