I was out riding on a deserted road this last sunday morning, and discovered with proper application the throttle, my front wheel would come unstuck from the ground. Is this a design defect?

A tire compound / macadam bonding issue?  Have mercy.

It would just come straight up.  I'd turn my handlebars and nothing would happen until I let off the throttle.

I'd take it back. Obviously defective.

Wish mine would do that easily.
I suppose I should try filling my front tyre with Hydrogen to make it lighter.

This is a defect my 06 has.

I was riding into work last week and I was stopped at the Gaurd shack and asked if i was the guy doing the wheelies.....

I just stared at them wondering.... I have only done one wheelie on company property in the past 7 months....  The guard looked at me and asked again, becuse they didn't believe my bike could do it.

So I said no and upon leaving the sucurity, the front end just came up.

This could get me in trouble!

It may be a gravitational anomoly.
