Hi all, a buddy of mine has an '02 Tiger and when you are on the gas, it gets a slight rattle coming from the motor when you go above 5k rpm's. The bike has a tad over 50k miles on it. Have there been any issues with the cam chain on these bikes? Any suggestions?

may or may not be the problem, but my bike has a similar rattle under similar conditions, and it turns out it the exhaust heat shield rattling. the pop rivets were loose.

probably not your problem, but just thought i'd throw it out there
