I guess sport bike tires are easier to change; I've done 3 so far on two different bikes and not one of them could you have pushed the first bead on to the rim.

That bead breaker was pretty smartly done.

The guy in the vid had some good ideas, he was a little "free" and careless with his lemon pledge however.  I don't think brake rotors need any applied polish; vicinity, overspray, or otherwise.  As mentioned in the video below, windex, alcohol base, can be used and will evaporate quickly without a waxy film on the tire or nearby parts.

I have one of these.  Comes in pretty handy for the multiple bikes that I buy, fix-up/resto and resell.
